Nikki Kimbrough is one of the top fitness experts in the United States; personal trainer for 20 years and entrepreneur; CEO and founder of Get Fit with Nik, Inc.; TV personality and Broadway performer; producer and director. Kimbrough has shared her knowledge of health and fitness with the country on such programs as The Steve Harvey Show (NBC) Headline News (CNN), The Today Show (NBC), Good Morning America (ABC), The Early Show (CBS), Better TV, The Get Fit w/Nik Web Series (CentricTV.com) and Makeover Manor (TV-One). Kimbrough has been a fitness contributor for Time Inc, Business Insider, Essence, Fitness and Shape magazines; a national spokesperson for Bally Total Fitness for over six years and consultant and member of The Gold’s Gym Fitness Institute.
The Richmond, Virginia native is a dynamic trainer. Kimbrough has a connection with audiences and clients that make people believe their ability to control their health and change their lifestyle. “It’s all about Redefining Fit,” explains Kimbrough; being fit physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually and so much more! “Overall wellness is a lifestyle that many of us struggle with today;” says Nikki Kimbrough. “Through observing clients, friends and my own personal experiences, I’ve discovered that fitness is a personal journey that can affect your job performance, your family, personal relationships and your self-esteem. The former NCAA and professional long jumper has a diverse training background that ranges from dance to boxing, to weight training to yoga. When Kimbrough isn’t training clients or teaching her popular Get Fit with Nik Boot Camp, she is participating in marathons and triathlons. She made her Broadway debut as the role of Etta James in the Broadway musical “A Night with Janis Joplin.” And she is the executive director and owner of the Harlem All-Stars Theater Group, where their mission is to create extraordinary theater experiences that educate, encourage and inspire underserved youth. The proud University of Virginia Alum (Go Hoos), holds a BA in English; MA in Public Relations from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University and holds several fitness accreditations including an NASM certification.
Kimbrough has also created The Wonder Women Need Love Too Series. The WWNL2 Series is "all about us as women putting ourselves first in the midst of it all," says Kimbrough. "We deliver greatness every day, sometimes in compromise of ourselves. It's time for us to change how we play the game."
